i recommend you to eat at laleli iskender, that is set 200 metres away. would definitely come back, if in istanbul.

If you like the downtown area, then it would be a decent place for you. We appreciated rooms and staff. 100 metres away from the hotel there is Daphne Restaurant, which is a good dining choice;))
